I started racing my bike at the age of eight on the velodrome during the stock bike races. After that first summer of racing, I was hooked. I raced on the velodrome for several years until I discovered road racing. One year after that I did my first cyclocross race. After discovering those three disciplines, it seemed that I had discovered my passion for cycling. At the age of fourteen, I participated in my first Junior National Championships, and continued to race at the Nationals each year after that.
I finished eighth in the road race at the 2010 Junior World Championships. I have raced with the Women’s National Team on many trips to Europe. I am currently the 2010 U23 National Cyclocross Champion. I was also a member of the 2011 Elite Women’s Cyclocross World Championship team this past winter. I have also won several national titles at the Collegiate level while racing for Marian University. I race for Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld.com for Cyclocross and Peanut Butter & Co. TWENTY12 on the road. When not on the bike, I enjoy reading, baking and decorating cakes, and cross country skiing.
